From the beginning of 1880s and into the 1920s, American pottery makers were making porcelain wares known as Belleek. The porcelain makers at that time were found mainly located in the states of Ohio or New Jersey.
Each manufacturer had a company logo mark, that can help collectors to determine the approximate year of manufacturing. The company names most people who collect Belleek are Lenox and the Ceramic Art Company. Signed pieces are usually sought after more by collectors, especially if the collector knows the history of that designer, the company that made it, or the rarity of the piece.
