Martha Holcombe is responsible for the sculpted figurines commonly known as the Miss Martha figurines. These figurines, made of wood, and sometime porcelain were to be hand-crafted by Martha Holcombe. The figurines (now collectible items) have attracted quite a bit of attention from collectors.
Martha Holcombe has gained popularity in creating the figurines she has designed. The collectibles are classics. Martha Holcombe's figurines and dolls are known as both Miss Martha Originals and All God's Children.
Many Martha Holcombe collectors are fans of her Historical series, which includes figurines of such great people as: Bessie Coleman (first African American female pilot), George Washington Carver (African American inventor, scientist), and Sojourner Truth (African American abolitionist).
