Thomas Kinkade’s paintings are made with pastel colors and are usually scenes from idyllic settings such as streams, ponds, bridges, and cabins. Many of his paintings also showcase religious themes. Some of his paintings have light effects that are painted onto them, thus his moniker "Painter of Light." His works can also be seen on Hallmark greeting cards, calendars, and puzzles.
